Gợi ý & tài liệu

After hearing music, children usually react quite naturally and physically. Some will start dancing, clapping, humming, or trying to copy the rhythm, even if they do not understand the lyrics. Younger children especially tend to respond to the beat first, while older children may pay more attention to the melody, the singer, or whether the song feels exciting or funny. In general, children like music that is lively, repetitive, and easy to follow, such as cartoon songs, pop music, nursery rhymes, or songs with actions. Teachers often play music in class because it can change the atmosphere very quickly. For example, soft background music may help children calm down, while an energetic song can make them more engaged before an activity. Music is also useful for memory, especially when children learn language, numbers, or routines through songs. In stores, music is played for a slightly different reason: it creates a pleasant mood and can encourage customers to stay longer. Store owners usually learn what music works by observing customers, checking sales patterns, or choosing songs that match their brand and target shoppers. I do think children can benefit from learning musical instruments when they are young, as long as it is not forced too aggressively. Playing an instrument can develop patience, coordination, listening skills, and confidence. Music is also extremely important in movies because it guides the audience’s emotions. A scene can feel romantic, frightening, or heroic largely because of the soundtrack, so music is not just decoration; it is part of the storytelling.
