Gợi ý & tài liệu
Public transportation is generally more affordable and efficient, especially in big cities where roads are already crowded. If more people use buses, metros, or trains, society benefits because there are fewer cars on the road, less congestion, and lower air pollution. It also makes a city more inclusive, because students, elderly people, and those who cannot afford a car can still move around independently. That said, mass transportation is not perfect. It can be crowded during rush hour, and passengers have to follow fixed routes and schedules, so it is not always convenient. Private transportation, on the other hand, gives people much more flexibility and comfort. You can leave whenever you want, carry more luggage, and travel directly from door to door. The downside is that owning a car is expensive, and if too many people drive, it creates traffic jams, parking problems, and environmental damage. Many people travel long distances to work because housing in city centers is often too expensive, so they move to the suburbs where rent or property prices are lower. Living in the city center is convenient because people are close to offices, shops, hospitals, and entertainment, but it can be noisy, polluted, and stressful. Suburban life is usually quieter and more spacious, but commuting can take a lot of time and energy, so the choice really depends on someone’s income, job location, and lifestyle priorities.
