Some people still use cash because it feels simple, reliable, and psychologically easier to control. When you pay with notes and coins, you can physically see your money leaving your hand, so it may stop you from overspending. Cash is also useful for small shops, markets, older people, and places where card machines or mobile payment systems are not always available. In that sense, even though digital payments are faster, cash still gives people a sense of security and independence. I do think payments will become mostly paperless in the future, but probably not completely cashless. Technology is moving in that direction because mobile wallets and contactless cards are convenient, especially in big cities. However, a fully cashless society could exclude people who do not have bank accounts, smartphones, or stable internet access, so governments and businesses need to keep different options available. As for money and time, I agree that time is just as important as money, because money can be earned again, but time cannot really be replaced. A high salary is attractive, especially when the cost of living is rising, but if a job leaves you exhausted and gives you no time for family, health, or personal growth, it may not be worth it in the long run. Ideally, people should look for a balance between financial security and quality of life. Prices also vary from place to place because of rent, wages, taxes, transport costs, and local demand. For example, goods in a city centre are often more expensive because businesses pay higher rent and customers are willing to pay for convenience. So, having a variety of payment options and understanding local costs both matter, because they make daily life more flexible and manageable for different groups of people.
