Gợi ý & tài liệu
Older people often prefer places that are peaceful, safe, and easy to manage. Many of them like living in quiet residential areas or small towns where the pace of life is slower and the community feels familiar. At the same time, they usually need practical facilities nearby, such as hospitals, pharmacies, parks, and public transport, because convenience becomes more important as people get older. Living close to the workplace has obvious advantages, especially in big cities. It cuts down commuting time, reduces stress, and gives people more time for family, exercise, or rest. That is one reason many younger workers choose to live in urban areas, even if housing is expensive. Cities also attract people because they offer better job opportunities, higher-quality education, entertainment, and a wider range of services. In my country, people’s preferences depend a lot on their age and income. Young people often want to live in major cities because they are ambitious and want more career options. Families may prefer suburbs, where housing is a bit more spacious and the environment is safer for children. Older people, however, often choose quieter neighborhoods or return to their hometowns, as they value comfort, social connections, and a less hectic lifestyle.
