Gợi ý & tài liệu
In my country, people watch quite a wide range of TV programs, but I’d say entertainment shows, dramas, sports, news, and reality competitions are the most popular. Older people still tend to follow the evening news and family dramas, while younger viewers often prefer foreign series, talent shows, documentaries, or short video clips on streaming platforms. Foreign TV programs are definitely popular, especially Korean dramas, American sitcoms, and Japanese anime, because they feel fresh and expose people to different cultures and lifestyles. As for children, I think animal videos can be useful because they allow kids to see rare or dangerous animals up close without the stress of travelling or the ethical concerns connected with some zoos. Of course, videos cannot fully replace real-life experiences, but they are convenient and can be replayed or explained by parents and teachers. In schools, teachers in my country do play videos in class, especially for subjects like science, history, and English, because visual material can make abstract ideas much easier to understand. I wouldn’t say talk shows are always a waste of time. Some are shallow and mainly designed for gossip, but others include meaningful discussions, interviews with experts, or personal stories that help viewers think about social issues. Overall, I do believe we can acquire knowledge from TV programs, provided we choose them carefully. Documentaries, news analysis, travel programs, and educational channels can broaden our horizons, although viewers still need to think critically instead of accepting everything at face value.
