Gợi ý & tài liệu
I would say I am generally a punctual person, although I am not perfect. For work, appointments, or anything involving other people’s time, I try to arrive a few minutes early because it shows respect and helps me feel calm. I don’t think punctuality is just about following a rule; it also affects how reliable other people think you are. That said, I don’t always manage to avoid being late. Sometimes traffic, bad planning, or an unexpected task can throw off my schedule. I think people are often late for meetings because they underestimate how long things will take, especially travel time or preparation time. In some cases, people also overcommit themselves and put too many things into one day. People may miss important events for more serious reasons, such as emergencies, poor communication, or simply forgetting because they are under pressure. In my country, it depends on the situation. For formal meetings or work-related events, people usually try to be on time, but for casual gatherings, being ten or fifteen minutes late is often accepted. Personally, I think it is better to be punctual whenever possible because it creates trust and avoids unnecessary stress.
