Gợi ý & tài liệu

In my country, people usually congratulate each other on occasions that mark some kind of achievement or important life event. For example, students are congratulated when they pass a difficult exam, win a scholarship, or get into a good university. Adults often receive congratulations when they get a promotion, buy a new house, start a business, get married, or have a baby. Even smaller achievements, like completing a project at work or winning a sports competition, can be a reason for people to say “well done” and show recognition. There are different ways people celebrate, depending on the occasion and the family’s budget. Some people organize a meal at home with relatives, while others go to a restaurant, give flowers, post messages on social media, or send small gifts. For major events like weddings or graduation ceremonies, the celebration can be quite formal, with speeches, photos, and a large gathering. But for everyday success, a simple message, a phone call, or treating someone to coffee may be enough. I think some people want to be successful because success gives them a sense of pride and security. It can also bring respect from others, especially in cultures where family reputation is important. However, success is not only about money or status. For many people, it means being able to support their family, prove their ability, and feel that their hard work has paid off.
