People usually like to visit parts of the countryside that feel peaceful but still offer something memorable to do. For example, they may go to small villages, farms, lakes, mountain areas, or national parks where they can walk, take photos, try local food, and escape the noise of the city for a while. In many countries, countryside tourism is also linked to culture, so visitors might enjoy traditional markets, old houses, craft workshops, or festivals that show a slower and more authentic way of life. As for the decrease in population in rural areas, I think the consequences can be quite serious. When young people move away to cities, villages often end up with an ageing population, fewer workers, and fewer children in local schools. Over time, services such as clinics, shops, and public transport may close because there are not enough people using them. This can create a vicious circle, because once services disappear, even more people may decide to leave. There is also a cultural impact. Some farming skills, local dialects, and traditional customs may gradually fade away if there are not enough people to pass them on. So although countryside places may remain attractive for visitors, they can become less lively as permanent communities if depopulation continues.
