In my country, I’d say most people now prefer buying clothes online, especially in big cities. It’s just more convenient: you can compare prices, check reviews, and find a wider range of styles without spending half a day walking around. Street markets are still popular, though, because people can bargain and actually touch the fabric before buying. So I think online shopping is dominant among younger and busier people, while street markets still appeal to people who want cheap items quickly or who don’t fully trust online sizing.
