Gợi ý & tài liệu
We see advertisements almost everywhere nowadays. Traditionally, they appear on TV, radio, billboards, buses, magazines, and shop windows. But in daily life, I think people notice them most often online, especially on social media, search engines, video platforms, and shopping apps. Even when we are just scrolling or watching a short clip, advertising is often built into the content quite naturally. Advertising can be beneficial because it informs consumers about new products, special offers, and different choices in the market. It also helps businesses grow, which can create jobs and support the economy. However, advertising is not always positive, especially for children. Young children may not fully understand that adverts are designed to persuade them, so they can become easily attracted to unhealthy food, expensive toys, or unrealistic lifestyles. Overall, advertising affects people by shaping their tastes, spending habits, and even their sense of what is normal or desirable. A well-made advert can make a brand seem trustworthy or fashionable, while repeated exposure can encourage people to buy things they do not really need. So I would say advertising is useful when it gives honest information, but it becomes harmful when it manipulates people or puts too much pressure on them to consume.
