Gợi ý & tài liệu

Yes, I think people in my country do set goals, although not everyone writes them down formally. Many people have practical goals related to education, career, buying a house, or supporting their family. For example, students may aim to get into a good university, while working adults often set targets such as getting promoted, saving money, or starting a small business. In general, I would say people focus more on short-term goals because life can be quite competitive and unpredictable. They may think about what they need to achieve this year or even this month, such as passing an exam or increasing their income. That said, long-term goals are still important, especially for people who are planning for retirement, building a career, or trying to give their children better opportunities. Setting goals is especially important in the workplace because it gives people a clear direction and helps them measure progress. If employees know what they are working towards, they can prioritize their tasks and stay motivated. I also think clear goals make teamwork easier because everyone understands what success is supposed to look like. The goals of older and younger people are often quite different. Young people tend to be more ambitious and may focus on personal growth, travel, education, or career breakthroughs. Older people, on the other hand, usually care more about stability, health, family relationships, and financial security. So I’d say the main difference is that young people often set goals to expand their lives, while older people set goals to protect what they have built.
