Gợi ý & tài liệu
I’d say the main difference is that older people usually choose clothes that are practical, modest, and easy to maintain, while young people are often more willing to experiment with colour, shape, and trends. For example, an elderly person might prefer a simple shirt, loose trousers, or comfortable shoes, whereas a teenager or someone in their twenties may wear oversized jackets, bright sneakers, ripped jeans, or something more eye-catching. Of course, this is a generalisation, because some older people are very stylish and some young people dress quite simply. In the workplace, clothing depends a lot on the industry. In banks, law firms, or formal offices, people still tend to wear suits, shirts, blouses, or smart dresses. In creative or tech companies, the dress code is usually more relaxed, so employees might wear jeans, trainers, or casual shirts, as long as they still look presentable. I think buying clothes online is convenient because there is more choice and it is easy to compare prices, but the downside is that you cannot try things on, so the size, fabric, or colour may not be exactly what you expected. Young people probably wear unusual clothes more than other age groups because they are still shaping their identity and they may want to stand out or follow social media trends. However, I don’t think style should always be more important than comfort. Ideally, clothes should look good and feel comfortable at the same time. When people buy clothes, their decisions are usually affected by price, quality, body shape, lifestyle, brand image, and sometimes peer pressure or the desire to express their personality.
