Gợi ý & tài liệu

We need to be patient because a lot of worthwhile things simply cannot be rushed. In daily life, patience helps us make better decisions instead of reacting emotionally. For example, if we are stuck in traffic or waiting for feedback after an interview, getting angry does not change the situation; it only makes us more stressed. Patience gives us the mental space to stay calm, think clearly, and behave more maturely. I think we especially need patience in situations involving other people, such as raising children, working in a team, or dealing with slow service. People have different speeds, habits, and pressures, so if we expect everything to happen immediately, we may become unfair or rude. Children usually learn this first at home, when parents ask them to take turns or wait before getting what they want, but school also reinforces it through rules, queues, and group activities. That said, I do not think we should be patient all the time. If waiting means accepting poor treatment, injustice, or repeated delays without any explanation, then patience can become passivity. Some people are unwilling to wait because modern life has trained us to expect instant results, from fast delivery to quick replies online. So, in my view, patience is important, but it should go together with good judgment.
