Gợi ý & tài liệu

At home, I think the things most likely to be broken are the items we use every day, like phone chargers, cups, remote controls, kitchen appliances, and sometimes furniture. These things are constantly being moved around, dropped, plugged in, or washed, so normal wear and tear is almost unavoidable. For example, a cheap kettle or a plastic chair may not break because someone is careless, but simply because it is used so often. The people who like fixing things by themselves are usually practical, patient, and a bit curious. They enjoy understanding how something works, and they may also dislike wasting money or throwing things away too quickly. I do think the older generation is often better at this, partly because they grew up in a time when replacing things was not always affordable or convenient. They learned how to mend clothes, repair furniture, or fix simple electrical items out of necessity. As for clothes, factory-made clothing can be more consistent in size and stitching, especially when produced by a good brand. However, handmade clothes can be more valuable because they involve time, skill, and personal attention. A handmade jacket or dress may not always be perfect, but it can feel more unique and meaningful. I definitely think elderly people should teach young people basic repair skills, such as sewing on a button or fixing a loose handle, because these skills save money and encourage a less wasteful lifestyle.
