Gợi ý & tài liệu
I’d say it depends on the purpose, but for everyday commuting, electric bicycles are probably better for many people. They make cycling less physically demanding, especially in hot weather, hilly areas, or for older riders, so they can encourage more people to leave their cars at home. That said, ordinary bicycles are cheaper, easier to repair, and better for exercise, so I don’t think one is automatically superior in every situation. In the future, I don’t think electric bicycles will completely replace ordinary ones. They may become much more common in cities because they are convenient and fairly environmentally friendly, but regular bikes will still appeal to people who want fitness, simplicity, or a low-cost form of transport. It’s similar with electric cars and petrol cars: electric cars are cleaner at the point of use and quieter, but petrol cars still have advantages in terms of refuelling speed, driving range, and infrastructure in some places. As for the bigger picture, replacing all petrol cars with electric cars would be extremely difficult for governments. They would need to build charging stations, upgrade the power grid, make electric cars affordable, and deal with battery production and recycling. People definitely use more electricity now than before because modern life depends on phones, air conditioning, computers, public transport systems, and countless appliances. In the ancient world, people managed without electricity by relying on fire, animal power, manual labour, daylight, and simple machines, but of course life was slower, harder, and much less comfortable than it is today.
