Gợi ý & tài liệu
Some people get lost more easily than others because they have a weaker sense of direction or they don’t build a clear mental map of a place as they move around. For example, some people remember routes by landmarks, like a cafe or a bridge, while others rely on street names or compass directions. If someone is not very observant, or they are distracted by their phone, they may miss important clues and become disoriented quite quickly. I do think it is still important to be able to read a map, even though most people now use GPS. Technology is convenient, but it can fail if the battery dies or the signal is weak. Before travelling to a new place, I think people should do some basic preparation, such as checking the route, saving the hotel address, and learning the names of nearby stations or main roads. It doesn’t have to be complicated, but it can prevent a lot of stress. When people are lost, the best thing is to stay calm and work out where they are using reliable clues. They can check a navigation app, ask a local person, look for public signs, or go into a shop or station for help. A paper map may not be necessary for everyday life, but it can still be useful in remote areas, national parks, or foreign cities where internet access is unreliable. People react differently when they get lost: some panic and make poor decisions, while others treat it as a small adventure and solve the problem step by step.
