Gợi ý & tài liệu
In my country, the most popular buildings are probably high-rise apartment blocks, shopping malls, and modern office towers, especially in big cities where land is limited. At the same time, people still value traditional houses, temples, old colonial buildings, and historical sites because they give a city character and remind us of the past. So I would say there is a mix: practical modern buildings for daily life, and older or more symbolic buildings that people visit for culture and identity. As for appearance, I think it is worth spending money on the exterior if the building is public or important, because it affects the image of the whole area. A beautiful museum, library, or train station can make people feel proud of their city. However, the inside matters more in everyday life. A building may look impressive from the outside, but if it is uncomfortable, poorly ventilated, or badly designed inside, people will not enjoy using it. Ideally, a good building should balance both function and beauty. People like visiting historical sites because they offer a tangible connection to history. It is one thing to read about the past in a book, but it is much more memorable to stand inside an old palace, temple, or famous house. I think charging an entry fee is reasonable as long as the price is fair and the money is used for maintenance and preservation. When it comes to living, I would personally prefer a new building because it is usually safer, more convenient, and easier to maintain. That said, old buildings can have a lot of charm, especially if they have been properly renovated.
