One person I’ve met who I would genuinely like to work or study with is a former classmate of mine called Minh. I first met him during a short business English course at a language centre about two years ago. We were put in the same group for a presentation task, and that was when I noticed how organised and thoughtful he was. What impressed me most was his ability to stay calm under pressure. While the rest of us were slightly nervous before the presentation, he quietly divided the work, listened to everyone’s ideas, and helped us turn a messy discussion into a clear structure. He is also very reliable. If he says he will finish something by a certain time, he does it properly, not just quickly. I’d like to work or study with him because he brings out the best in the people around him. He doesn’t try to dominate the group, but he knows how to keep people focused. I think studying with someone like that would be motivating, especially for challenging subjects, because he has both discipline and a positive attitude. In a work situation, I imagine he would be the kind of colleague who makes projects less stressful and more productive.
