I’d like to describe Ba Vi National Park, which is a mountainous natural area about an hour and a half from Hanoi. I went there last autumn with a few close friends, mainly because we wanted to escape the noise and traffic of the city for a day. When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was how fresh and cool the air felt. The road up the mountain was surrounded by tall trees, and in some places there was a thin layer of mist, which made the whole place feel very peaceful. We walked along a forest trail, visited an old church ruin covered in moss, and stopped several times just to take photos and enjoy the view over the valleys below. What makes Ba Vi special to me is that it feels wild but still accessible. You don’t have to travel extremely far to be surrounded by nature, birdsong, and clean air. It gave me a real sense of calm, and I remember leaving the park feeling mentally refreshed, as if I had pressed a reset button after a stressful week.
