A place where I’ve taken photos more than once is a small lakeside park near my university. It’s not a famous tourist attraction, but it has a quiet walking path, a wooden bridge, and a row of old trees that look especially beautiful in the late afternoon. I first took photos there about two years ago, when I was walking with a few friends after class. At that time, I mainly photographed the sunset reflecting on the lake and some candid shots of my friends laughing on the bridge. Later, I went back several times, usually during different seasons or whenever the weather was unusually clear. What made me return was the fact that the place never looked exactly the same twice. In spring, the trees were fresh and green, while in autumn the leaves turned golden and made the whole park feel much warmer. I also became more interested in photography, so I wanted to practise taking better pictures with different lighting and angles. For me, it’s a peaceful place, but also a place where I can notice small changes and capture them in a more creative way.
