When I was a child, my dream job was to become a pilot. I grew up near an airport, so I often saw planes taking off and landing, and I found them absolutely fascinating. To me, pilots looked confident, adventurous, and almost heroic because they could fly huge aircraft and travel to different countries. The main reason I wanted to do this job was that I loved the idea of exploring the world. At that age, I didn’t fully understand how demanding the job was, but I imagined pilots spending their lives visiting exciting places, meeting people from different cultures, and seeing beautiful views from above the clouds. As a child, I only knew the basic things about the job. I knew pilots had to wear a uniform, sit in the cockpit, and control the plane. I also understood that they needed to be calm and responsible because many passengers depended on them. However, I didn’t know much about the long training, strict health checks, or pressure involved. Looking back, it was my dream job because it represented freedom and adventure. It made me feel that life could be bigger than my small hometown. Even though my career interests changed later, that childhood dream still reminds me how curious and imaginative I was at that time.
