Describe a friend from your childhood

I’d like to talk about my childhood friend Minh, who lived in the same neighborhood as me when I was in primary school. We first met when we were about seven years old because our parents often took us to the same small playground near our apartment block. At first, we were just kids playing football together, but over time we became really close. What I remember most about Minh is that he was extremely cheerful and imaginative. He could turn almost anything into a game, whether it was a cardboard box, a pile of stones, or even a rainy afternoon when we had to stay indoors. We used to ride our bicycles around the neighborhood, collect comic books, and spend hours talking about what we wanted to become in the future. Although we eventually went to different secondary schools and gradually lost touch, I still have very warm memories of him. He was probably one of the first people who taught me what friendship meant: sharing small things, forgiving each other quickly, and simply enjoying someone’s company without needing anything special to happen.
