Describe an interesting decision that you and your friend made together

One interesting decision my friend Minh and I made together was to join a weekend volunteering trip instead of going on a short holiday. At first, we had planned to visit Da Lat because we were both exhausted after exams and wanted somewhere relaxing. But while we were looking for accommodation, we saw a post from a local charity asking for volunteers to help renovate a small library in a rural school. We discussed it for quite a while because it meant giving up our original plan and spending the weekend painting walls, carrying books, and teaching children basic English. In the end, we decided to do it because we felt it would be more meaningful than just taking photos and drinking coffee for two days. It was not a dramatic decision, but it felt important because we both had to agree and commit to it. The trip turned out to be much more memorable than we expected. We were tired, of course, but we met kind people, worked as a team, and felt genuinely useful. Looking back, I think it was an interesting decision because it changed the way we thought about spending our free time. Since then, we have tried to choose experiences that are not only enjoyable but also worthwhile.
