A book I read that I found really useful was Atomic Habits by James Clear. I read it about two years ago, when I was trying to become more consistent with my studies and daily routine. I had heard a lot of people recommend it, but I didn’t expect it to be so practical and easy to apply. The main reason I found it useful is that it doesn’t just tell you to work harder. Instead, it explains how small habits, if repeated regularly, can lead to significant changes over time. For example, the book suggests making good habits obvious and easy, while making bad habits less convenient. After reading it, I started preparing my study materials the night before and putting my phone in another room when I needed to focus. I felt quite motivated after reading it, but not in a short-term, emotional way. It gave me a sense of control because I realised I didn’t need to completely change my life overnight. I just needed to improve my systems little by little. Overall, I’d say it was useful because it changed the way I think about discipline and personal growth.
