One occasion when I clearly remember seeing lots of people smiling was at my cousin’s wedding last year. It was held at a small restaurant near the river in my hometown, and I went there with my parents, my younger sister, and a few relatives from my mother’s side of the family. At first, everyone was quite busy greeting guests, taking photos, and finding their seats. But the atmosphere became much warmer when the bride and groom walked into the hall together. They looked a little nervous, but also extremely happy. Later, during the ceremony, my cousin made a short speech and accidentally mixed up a few words, which made everyone laugh in a very friendly way. I think most people were smiling because it was such a joyful and emotional moment. Many relatives had not met for a long time, so the wedding felt like a reunion as well as a celebration. Also, the couple looked genuinely in love, and their happiness was contagious. Even people who were usually quite serious, like my uncle, kept smiling and taking pictures. It was one of those rare occasions when the whole room seemed to share the same positive feeling.
