I’d like to talk about my friend Linh, who is probably the most artistic person I know. She was my classmate at university, and we became close because we were in the same group for a presentation. At first, I only knew her as a quiet and hardworking student, but later I found out that she had a real talent for drawing and painting. She draws almost every day, even if it is just a quick sketch in her notebook or on her tablet. On weekends, she often spends several hours painting with watercolours or working on digital illustrations. Sometimes she posts her artwork online, but I think she does it more for herself than for attention. I believe she loves drawing because it seems to be her way of expressing emotions. She is not the type of person who talks a lot about her feelings, but her paintings are very detailed and full of mood. For example, when she is stressed, she often paints quiet streets, rainy windows, or people sitting alone in cafes. I think art gives her a sense of calm and also allows her to notice beauty in ordinary things, which is something I really admire about her.
