Do you read the news?

Yes, I do read the news, although not in a very traditional way. I usually check headlines on my phone in the morning, mostly from news apps or social media links, and then I read the full article if something really catches my attention. I’m mainly interested in international events, technology, education, and sometimes local issues that affect daily life. Famous people do appear in the news quite often, especially celebrities, athletes, and politicians. To be honest, I don’t really follow celebrity gossip unless it is connected to a bigger issue, like charity work or a social campaign. I’d rather spend my time reading news that helps me understand what is going on in the world. I don’t think everything in the news is completely correct, so I try to be a bit selective. If a story sounds exaggerated, I usually check another reliable source before believing it. I also talk about the news with my friends from time to time, especially when there is a major event or something funny or surprising online.
