I think children can grow up well in both places, but if I had to choose, I’d say the countryside is slightly better for early childhood. It gives children more space to run around, explore nature, and develop a sense of freedom. That said, cities usually offer better schools, activities, and healthcare, so it really depends on the family’s situation. My best childhood memories are quite simple. I remember playing outside with my cousins after school, riding bicycles around the neighborhood, and making up little games until our parents called us home for dinner. I did enjoy my childhood because it felt carefree, and I didn’t have the pressure or responsibilities that people often have later in life. As a child, I loved playing with my cousins and a few close friends from school. We usually went to a small playground near my house, or sometimes we played in the yard. Looking back, I think those ordinary moments were actually very meaningful because they helped me become more sociable and imaginative.
