How often do you send text messages?

I send text messages pretty much every day, but not always in the traditional SMS sense. Most of my messages are through apps like Messenger or Zalo, because they’re faster, cheaper, and more convenient. I usually text my friends to make plans, send quick updates, or share something funny. Yes, sending messages is extremely popular in my country. People use messaging apps for almost everything, from chatting with family to contacting teachers, colleagues, or even small businesses. It’s often seen as less intrusive than making a phone call, especially when the matter isn’t urgent. When I was younger, I probably sent more messages just for fun. I used to have long conversations with friends after school, whereas now I tend to message with a clear purpose. As for replying, it depends. If it’s important, I try to respond straight away, but if I’m busy or need time to think, I might leave it until later.
