Yes, I have borrowed books from others, especially when I was at university. Some textbooks were quite expensive, so I often borrowed them from classmates or seniors instead of buying a brand-new copy. I was always careful to keep them clean and return them on time because I know books can be quite personal to some people. I have borrowed money before, but only small amounts, like when I forgot my wallet or needed to pay for lunch. I’m not really comfortable borrowing large sums because I don’t want money to affect my relationships. If I do borrow money, I try to pay it back as soon as possible.
